Palaniswami criticises DMK regime’s handling of Navodaya Vidyalaya case

The AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has criticised the DMK regime for not properly handling the Navodaya Vidyalaya case in the Supreme Court.

In a statement on Wednesday, Mr Palaniswami contended that the State government did not employ senior advocates in the Court and place effective arguments in support of the two language formula before the Court. As a result, the Court had directed the State government to identify land for Navodaya Vidyalaya in every district. The AIADMK leader argued that this development had “exposed double standards” of the DMK government.
