People-centric Budget with focus on MSMEs, infra, says Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan welcomed the Union Budget 2026-27, saying that it reflected years of decisive governance focused on reforms, resilience, and people-centric growth.

He stated in a social media post that the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman deserved appreciation for presenting a forward-looking, reform-driven Budget that strengthens India’s economic foundations.

He said the Budget gave a strong push to manufacturing, MSMEs, infrastructure, green energy, education, skilling and Ease of Doing Business and it accelerates India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat.

Mr. Kalyan observed that the emphasis on employment generation, innovation, city economic regions and high-speed rail corridors would reshape growth across regions and sectors. The focus on infrastructure would enhance mobility, reduce logistics costs, promote sustainable transport and catalyse economic activity. 

As far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned, initiatives such as Rare Earth Corridors, the East Coast Industrial Corridor, enhanced public capital expenditure, fisheries development, coastal logistics, MSME support and agri value-chain reforms augur well for development. “This Budget is rooted in Sankalp guided by Kartavya and driven by Yuva Shakti, empowering States, strengthening the poor and middle class, and building a confident and self-reliant India,” Mr. Kalyan added.
