Dr. Bheemsha Arya, Principal of B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) in Bengaluru, has been nominated as a member of the 10th Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Council. The nomination is for a tenure of three years, effective from December 8, 2025.
Based in Belagavi in Karnataka, VTU is one of the largest technological universities in India. It came into existence in 1998 to cater the needs of Indian industries for trained technical manpower with practical experience and sound theoretical knowledge.
