PRS office shifted to facilitate redevelopment at Vizag railway station

The existing Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Office will be shifted to facilitate station redevelopment works at Visakhapatnam Railway Station.

The present PRS building located at Gnanapuram Circle will remain closed from the afternoon of January 26, and will reopen and function from the General Booking Office in the Main Station Building, located between Gate No. 2 and Gate No. 3 of Visakhapatnam Railway Station with effect from January 27.

Senior divisional commercial manager K. Pavan Kumar appealed to passengers to note the change to avoid any inconvenience or confusion.

The reservation timings will remain unchanged. Passengers are requested to cooperate with the Railway Administration during the redevelopment phase, which is aimed at providing improved infrastructure and enhanced passenger convenience in the near future.
