Chief Minister N. Rangasamy has requested Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to facilitate extension of the proposed elevated road corridor along Cuddalore – Puducherry Road up to Mullodai junction.
The Chief Minister in a letter to the Union Minister has drawn his attention to the proposed plan of the Ministry for improvement / widening of the Puducherry – Cuddalore Road up to Mullodai at a cost of ₹650 crore. The proposal was to construct an elevated corridor for 2.6 km and widen the remaining stretch of 13.3 km.
