The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Saturday (December 13, 2025) conducted a mock dry run of flight operations at Rajahmundry Airport in view of the potential for flight delays and disruptions caused by fog during the ongoing winter season.

In an official release, Rajahmundry Airport Director N.K. Sreekanth said that the personnel from Air Traffic Control, India Meteorological Department, IndiGo Airlines, Alliance Air, Ground Handling Agencies (GHA) and Heligo Charters participated in the dry run.

Mr. Sreekanth stated that the dry run would be highly beneficial in ensuring safe, efficient and smooth handling of flight operations, even under adverse weather conditions in the future.
