Rakesh Nandan Sahay assumes charge as RINL director (personnel)

Rakesh Nandan Sahay has assumed charge as Director (personnel) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, here, according to a release on Tuesday (February 10, 2026). He has 29 years of experience in the field of human resources, industrial relations, and change management across power, mining, renewable energy, and research sectors.

Prior to joining RINL, Mr. Sahay served in senior human resource leadership roles in NTPC and its joint ventures with IOC, CIL, and State governments. He has handled HR functions for large greenfield and brownfield projects and has been associated with major project transitions and takeovers in thermal, hydro, gas, and mining sectors.
