Mangaluru City South MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath on Saturday urged Dakshina Kannada district administration to get water from AMR vented dam, on the Netravathi, released to Thumbe vented dam to continue daily supply of drinking water to the city without resorting to water rationing from Monday.
Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) lifts drinking water to the city from Thumbe dam, also on the Netravathi, near B. C. Road.
