The aroma of home-cooked food and the spirit of compassion will come together at Ruchi Mela, a two-day food festival organised by the volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries of Pallium India, on February 5 and 6, at the YWCA Hall, Spencer Junction, from 10 a.m to 5.30 p.m.
More than just a food festival, Ruchi Mela is an expression of solidarity. Every dish served is prepared with love by people who are closely connected to palliative care — volunteers, caregivers, staff members, and families — who have experienced the comfort and support Pallium India offers. Traditional favourites and homestyle flavours will take centre stage, reflecting the warmth of shared kitchens and shared lives, says Pallium India.
The funds raised through the food festival will support Pallium India’s palliative care services for patients living with serious illnesses and their families, helping provide pain relief, emotional support, and dignity during difficult times.
Pallium India has invited the community to be part of the food festival and to participate in a simple yet meaningful act of giving
