Sexual harassment case filed against businessman

The Ice House police have registered a sexual harassment case against businessman P.R. Sundar based on a complaint filed by a news anchor. 

A senior official of the city police said a woman had lodged a complaint at the Police Commissioner’s office, stating that she had approached Sundar for a job, leading to an acquaintance between them. She alleged that he invited her to his home, located in a multi-storey apartment in Pattinapakkam, and behaved inappropriately.

 The Ice House police have filed a case against Sundar under five sections including sexual harassment, offenses against women, and criminal intimidation and are conducting an investigation.
