‘SK 27’: Sivakarthikeyan, Kayadu Lohar starrer launched

Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan’s next, tentatively titled SK 27, will be produced by the noted production house Sathya Jyothi Films. The makers announced the project with a poster.

T.G. Thyagarajan presents the film, produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth are the co-producers. Sivakarthikeyan will play the lead role, with Kayadu Lohar as the female lead. This marks the first collaboration between the two actors. Parithabangal fame Sudhakar and George Maryan are also set to play prominent characters.

The movie will be directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who previously gained widespread attention with his National Award winning film Parking. Balakrishnan has also written the movie.

Om Prakash is handling the cinematography, while Kalaivanan is the editor. Rajesh is the production designer, Praveen is the costume designer, and Steven Kumar serves as the stunt master.

The announcement poster features a striking red car at the centre, surrounded by a huge crowd. The visual depicts people rushing towards the car, while the surrounding crowd, smoke, and dramatic lighting give the poster an intense flavour. The movie is touted to be an action drama. The project has gone on floors.

Meanwhile, Kayadu was seen in the latest big release, The Paradise. Starring Nani, the Telugu movie is directed by Srikanth Odela. The movie opened to negative reviews. Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in the political period drama Parasakthi. He is also working on Seyon, produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, who made the hit Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar.
