Special prayers mark Id-ul-Fitr celebrations

Muslims celebrated Id-ul-Fitr, the festival that signifies the end of the fasting month of Ramzan, by participating in congregational prayers across Tiruchi and other central districts on Saturday.

A large number of families gathered at the Uzhavar Sandhai grounds at Anna Nagar in the city for the Id prayers. A large number of Muslims attended the prayers at Khajamalai, Palakkarai and other designated grounds and mosques in the city.
