As mercury levels continue to rise in Cuddalore, arrangements have been made at the Cuddalore Government General Hospital to treat members of the public complaining of heat-related stress.
According to an official, six beds have been readied for heatstroke patients in the Intensive Medical Care Unit in the hospital. The ward has two ventilators and also has separate restrooms and bathrooms.
