Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Nepal on various areas of academic collaboration.
A press note said the MoU aimed to promote academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and mutual enrichment through collaborative activities, to encourage student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, symposia, and continuing education programmes and to foster shared values in research ethics, clinical education, and educational innovation.
The representatives from BPKIHS included Sanjib Kumar Sharma, Academic Director, Shivendra Jha, Dean (Academics), Vimmi Singh, Assistant Dean. The SBV team included Shivasakthy Manivasakan, Director, Institute of Health Professions Education, who also served as an international expert for the MBBS curriculum revision workshop of the Medical college of BPKIHS as the first collaborative activity.
For the BPKIHS, the MoU with SBV marks the first joint venture with an Indian University and opens up opportunities for collaborative activities between the two countries, the press note added.
