SRMIST holds national techno-management fest Aaruush ’26

The 20th edition of SRM Institute of Science and Technology’s (SRMIST) national techno-management fest, Aaruush ’26, was held on the theme “Towards Infinity”, showcasing emerging technologies and student innovations on Saturday, a press release said.

The fest featured drones, robotics, autonomous systems, defence technology, and immersive technologies. Exhibits included DRDO’s BMP-2 Tanker, Bumblebee, RoboDog, and Robotic Interactive Suit, besides live FPV drone demonstrations, VR experiences and autonomous mobile robots, the release said.

Student teams also showcased custom-built drones, rockets, and robotics through events such as Quadcopter and RoboLeague. The event offered prizes worth over ₹10 lakh across competitions covering technology, entrepreneurship, management and innovation.
