TGSPDCL gets four International Quality Certifications

HYDERABAD

The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) achieved yet another milestone in the power distribution sector by strengthening quality standards, information security, stores management and the delivery of quality services to consumers.

On the occasion of International Standards Day, the organisation received four quality recognitions: ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 27001 for Information Security, the Japanese 5S methodology for Stores Management and the Quality Mark for providing quality services to consumers.

These recognitions stand as a testament to the organisation’s continued efforts to improve operational efficiency, strengthen management systems and enhance service quality. At a programme organised to mark International Standards Day, TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil received the four recognitions from Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka here on Wednesday.

Mr. Patil stated that the organisation’s objective is to ensure that quality is not confined to certificates alone but is reflected in discipline in every process, accountability in every task and commitment in every service, thereby further strengthening the trust of consumers.
