Surging Coimbatore to chart city’s next decade of transformation
The city’s growth vision for the next decade will take centrestage at the “Surging Coimbatore – Vision to Value Conclave 1.0,” organised by Rotary Coimbatore Ikons, to be held on February 7 at Taj Vivanta, Race Course.
The conclave, themed “Ideas Today. Impact Tomorrow,” is envisioned as a high-impact platform bringing together industry leaders, professionals, policymakers and innovators to translate ideas into actionable outcomes and map Coimbatore’s transformation as a leading industrial and knowledge hub.
Girish Krishnamurthy, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, will be the chief guest and is expected to share insights on leadership, innovation and global industry trends. The conclave will feature an eminent panel of speakers including Jairam Varadaraj (ELGi Industries), Prashanth Subramanian (Quadrasystems.net India Pvt. Ltd.), L.V. Navaneeth (The Hindu Group), Arjun Balakrishnan (Avalon Technologies), Sanjay R. Chaganti (Global Leadership Coach), Valliappan Nagappan (Hindustan Chamber of Commerce), Jayaprakash Gandhi (AIE Beyond), senior advocate N. Sundaravadivelu, Dr. Arun N. Sessions will focus on value creation, innovation, execution excellence, emotional fitness, financial literacy, artificial intelligence and emerging growth frontiers. A special segment titled “Coimbatore Unleashed” will outline a roadmap for the city’s future development.
The event also carries a strong social mission. Proceeds and support from the conclave will be directed towards community welfare initiatives, including assistance for a dialysis centre catering to economically weaker sections, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to service. Hari Padmanabhan, chairman of the conclave, said registrations were open and noted that his leadership team included Saba Singaram, conclave secretary, and program chair Mervyn Jussy, who said the conclave would be an annual feature on Coimbatore’s calendar.
