Tiruchi – Thiruvananthapuram express to run with LHB coaches

Southern Railway has decided to operate Tiruchi – Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tiruchi Intercity Superfast express trains (22627/22628) with LHB (Linke-Hofmann Busch) coaches to enhance safety and comfort for passengers.

The Tiruchi – Thiruvananthapuram Central Intercity superfast express will run with LHB coaches from December 17 and from Thiruvananthapuram Central from December 18.

Consequent to the conversion into LHB coaches, the composition of the train services will be revised. The trains will be operated with one AC chair car coach, four second class chair car coaches, 11 general second class coaches, one second class coach (Divyangjan friendly) and one luggage-cum-brake van, a press release from the Tiruchi Division said.
