Train services in the Coimbatore region will be altered on October 9, 10 and 11 to facilitate track maintenance works being carried out in the Coimbatore Junction railway yard.
The Mettupalayam–Podanur MEMU (Train No. 66611), scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 8.20 a.m., will be short-terminated at Coimbatore Junction on October 9 and 10. It will not operate between Coimbatore Junction and Podanur on these days.
The Shoranur–Coimbatore Passenger (Train No. 56604), scheduled to leave Shoranur Junction at 8.20 a.m., will be short-terminated at Podanur Junction on October 10 and 11 and will not operate between Podanur and Coimbatore Junction.
The Mettupalayam–Podanur MEMU (Train No. 66615), scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 1.05 p.m., will be short-terminated at Coimbatore North on October 11 and will not operate between Coimbatore North and Podanur.
Consequently, the originating stations of three trains will also be changed.
The Podanur–Mettupalayam MEMU (Train No. 66612), scheduled to leave Podanur at 9.40 a.m., will instead originate from Coimbatore Junction at 9.55 a.m. on October 9 and 10.
The Coimbatore–Shoranur Passenger (Train No. 56603), scheduled to leave Coimbatore Junction at 4.25 p.m., will instead originate from Podanur at 4.38 p.m. on October 10 and 11.
The Podanur–Mettupalayam MEMU (Train No. 66616), scheduled to leave Podanur at 3.30 p.m., will instead originate from Coimbatore North at 3.52 p.m. on October 11.
