Two faculty members of Tumkur University allegedly submitted fake documents for promotion

Two faculty members of the Kannada Department of Tumkur University have been caught submitting fake documents for promotion. It has been confirmed during the investigation that professor Annamma and associate professor P.M. Gadharaiah of D.V. Gundappa Kannada Studies and Research Centre of the university submitted fake documents for promotion.

The university has sought legal opinion in this regard, and based on the report, it decided to take legal and disciplinary action against the two faculty members.
