Two men found dead on railway tracks in separate cases

Two men were found dead on railway tracks near Secunderabad in separate incidents on Friday (December 26, 2025).

In the first case, a 56-year-old man, identified as B. Nimmalaiah, a security guard from Abbavaram village in Prakasam district, was found dead on railway tracks in Moula Ali. Police said he sustained a severe head injury after the fall. His Aadhaar card found at the spot helped in confirming his identity. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination and will be handed over to his relatives after the procedure.

In another case, body of an unidentified man aged about 65 to 70 years was found between Cherlapalli and Ghatkesar railway stations around 8.35 a.m. No identification documents were found on him. A case has been registered and efforts are on to establish his identity.
