The prize distribution ceremony of The Hindu Deepa Kolam Contest 2025 was held on Friday, at The Hindu office in Chennai. Open to all who decorated their houses with glowing lamps on the eve of Karthigai Deepam, the contest saw its fourth consecutive edition with enthusiastic participation. Winners were selected on the elegance and extravagance of the Deepa Kolams and the way they exhibited it on the microsite.
Jeyanthi Mani won first place followed by Radha Kalyanaraman in second place and Pavan G.R. in third. Consolation prizes were awarded to Chitra Kuppusamy, S. Sudha Selvakumar, Indumathi, Jayanthi Murugesh, Gayathri P., Geetha Ramasubramanian and Tamilarasi Pandiyan
The contest was presented by ITC Mangaldeep, co-powered by Gopuram Turmeric Powder and Kumkum. Gifts were sponsored by Medimix, Naga, and P.S. Tamarind.
