Young shuttler from the city shines at national events

Yenneti Surya Ramana Rithwik, a young shuttler from the city, has made his mark on the National badminton circuit. After winning the 2025 Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association State U-13 doubles Championship held in Ongole from October 24 to 27, 2025, Rithwik qualified for the prestigious All India Sub-Junior (U-13) Championships 2025, hosted in Bhagalpur, Bihar, from December 13 to 16. At the national event, Rithwik showcased his skill and determination, securing a bronze medal in the U-13 Boys Doubles category. Rithwik is currently training under Coach G. Sathish at RISE (Railway Indoor Sports Enclave) in the city.
