Undertrail murder: Saket Courts to step up security

Days after an undertrial was killed inside the court’s lockup following a scuffle with other inmates, authorities at the Saket Courts have decided to ramp up security measures by ordering the installation of integrated security equipments.

In November 2021, the Delhi High Court directed the authorities to implement various interim measures to ensure safety in district court premises, including the installation of CCTV cameras and the deployment of security personnel at specific points.
