A career counselling programme on commerce education with special focus on Chartered Accountancy was held at a Government Aided School in Tiruvarur on June 25.
Over 1,400 students from Classes 8 to 12 in the event held at the V.S. Boys Government Aided Higher Secondary School, Tiruvarur, which was conducted by the Kumbakonam Branch of the Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in association with the Committee on Career Counselling, ICAI.
The programme focuses on the value of the course; by providing guidance to the students wherein they get the opportunity to know about the course and decide about their future career options, according to a release.
