Paralympic gold medallist Harvinder Singh secured the recurve men’s open individual gold medal at the Asian para-archery championships in Beijing on Sunday.
Harvinder defeated Hanreuchai Netsiri of Thailand 7-1 (28-24, 30-28, 26-26, 30-28) in the final to take the top honour.
Jyoti outclassed Teodora Audi Ayudia Ferelly of Indonesia 144-133 for the compound women’s open bronze. However, Rakesh Kumar was beaten 149-143 by China’s Zhang Yicheng in the compound men’s open bronze medal match.
