Three people, including the driver, sustained severe injuries after a goods vehicle rammed the median on NICE Road on Saturday. The vehicle carrying a load of mattresses was heading to Kengeri from Byadarahalli via NICE Road.
According to the police, the driver was reportedly driving rashly and negligently. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the median. Due to the impact, the vehicle overturned, was severely mangled, and broke into two parts. Passersby alerted the police and rushed the injured to the nearby hospital where they are being treated in ICU.
The Jnanabharati traffic police have registered a case and are awaiting the driver’s recovery for questioning.
