Covasant Tech, U.S. firms konaAI, DCube to merge

Agentic AI solutions firm Covasant Technologies, which has offices in Hyderabad, London and Texas (U.S.), on Tuesday announced merger with U.S. firms konaAI and DCube Data Sciences Corporation.

The merger will combine the strengths and expertise of the companies, reinforce Covasant’s position in the market while enabling it to offer a broader range of services and solutions to customers. By integrating konaAI’s AI-led compliance expertise and DCube’s cybersecurity and eDiscovery strengths, Covasant said it is poised to significantly expand its services portfolio.

Covasant founder C.V. Subramanyam, who previously established Cigniti Technologies, said the “merger is a critical step in realising our vision to become the definitive leader in Agentic AI-led Services-as-Software”. Together, the three companies have about 400 employees.

In a release, Covasant said Hyderabad, which is known for its thriving technology ecosystem, stands to benefit from the high-value employment, technological advancement and reinforced international standing the merger will catalyse. The company did not share details of the financials details of the merger and hiring plans.

Joining forces with Covasant “enhances our ability to harness advanced AI to deliver real-time, preventive compliance and risk solutions that drive stronger business outcomes”, konaAI and DCube founder Anil Kona said. The Agentic AI market in India projected by Grand View Research to soar to $1,730.5 million by 2030 at a 53.9% CAGR.
