For the occasion of consecration ceremony of Sri Subramanian Swamy temple at Tirupparankundram, Madurai City Police have given traffic diversions in and around the area on July 14 (Monday).
Heavy vehicles going from Kappalur through Thiru Nagar Road should take the Koothiyarkundu flyover through bypass road.
Heavy vehicles from Dindigul road going through Kalavasal bypass road to reach Tirupparankundram, from Kalavasal junction, should take the Theni Road and Nagamalai Pudukkottai to reach the bypass road.
Public vehicles going to the city area from Thiru Nagar through Tirupparankundram instead of taking the girivalam road and Tirupparankundram flyover should take the Tirupparankundram bypass and Muta park to reach the city area.
No vehicles are permitted to park in temple Arch road, four car roads, DC office to Lala Shop and Sanandhi Street. Four wheelers can be parked in HR and CE parking, parking near Kasi Viswanathar Temple, in cowshed and in Sivanthipuram Kanmoi.
The vans and buses could be parked in temporary parking near Mannar College.
People from Thiru Nagar can park in Nilaiyur junction and people from Avaniyapuram can park in Manikam Ramaswami College ground and car showroom ground. Two wheelers can be parked in Tirupparankundram bus stand, empty ground in Tirupparankundram Avaniyapuram Road.
