The Aadi Amman temple tours will commence from Friday and will continue on July 25 and August 1 , 8 and 15, a release from the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments and tourism department said.
Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister had announced in the Assembly that devotees and senior citizens would be taken to Amman temples free of cost.
Accordingly, the tour would begin at Dhandumariamman temple, and cover Mariamman and Angalamman temple – Pollachi, Anaimalai Masaniamman temple, Sulakkal Mariamman temple, Pachainayagi Amman temple – Perur and would wind up at Koniamman temple. The trip would begin from Dhandumariamman temple at 7 a.m. with breakfast and would wind up at Koniamman temple at 6 p..m.
