Telangana weather | Heavy rainfall alert in seven districts on July 18

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for seven Telangana districts for Friday (July 18, 2025).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Yadadri Bhongir and Nagarkurnool districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and strong surface winds are very likely at isolated places in all 33 districts.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surroundings for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33°C and 23°C respectively,” as per the bulletin.
