BRS Municipal Chairperson joins Congress

In a setback to the main Opposition, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the Municipal Chairperson of Jadcherla, Koneti Pushpalatha, joined the Congress in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday.

Two councillors from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chava Nagaraju and Lalitha, and Gunda Umadevi (BRS) also joined the Congress. They were welcomed into the party by the Chief Minister, who offered them party scarves. Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy was also present.
