‘Kundapra Kannada’ festival to be held in Bengaluru on July 26 and 27

The ‘Kundapra Kannada Festival-2025’ organised by the ‘Kundapra Kannada Foundation’ will be held on July 26 and 27 at the Nandi Link Ground near the Nice Road Junction in Hosakerehalli, Bengaluru, said Deepak Shetty Barkur, President of the Foundation.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, he said that the festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Speaker U.T. Khader, Bamul president D.K. Suresh and former Member of Parliament K. Jayaprakash Hegde and others will jointly dedicate the Kundapra Kannada Peeth at Mangalore university.

H. Sudarshan Ballal, president of Manipal Group of Hospitals and film director Yogaraj Bhat will be facilitated with ‘Ura Gaurava’ award. Film actor Rishab Shetty, Pramod Shetty, Praveer Shetty, Shine Shetty, music director Ravi Basruru and others will participate in the festival.
