A 30-year-old woman was assaulted by two persons in her home in Kancheepuram. Police said the woman was a resident of Thimmasamuthiram living along with her husband and two children. On Thursday after her husband had gone to work and children had left for school, two unidentified men entered the house and attacked her. Later they escaped. The neighbours on hearing her pleas rescued her and admitted her in Kancheepuram Government General Hospital. Police are investigating.
