Prime Video released the official trailer for Gen V Season 2 during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, offering fans a first look at the upcoming chapter of the Boys spinoff. The new season is set to premiere globally on September 17.

Returning to the super-powered halls of Godolkin University, the trailer reveals a darker tone, with the aftermath of Season 1 still weighing heavily on the characters. Jaz Sinclair’s Marie Moreau is seen being rescued by Erin Moriarty’s Starlight from a mysterious medical facility, before being drawn back into a world of growing unrest.

Set against a backdrop of rising tension between humans and supes, the second season follows Marie, Jordan Li (London Thor), and Emma Meyer (Lizze Broadway) as they return to Godolkin University, now under the control of a new dean played by Hamish Linklater. The school’s curriculum, described as promising to make students “more powerful than ever,” becomes a focal point as hidden secrets begin to emerge.

Season 2 introduces Ethan Slater as Thomas Godolkin, the university’s founder, while Sean Patrick Thomas’s character Polarity has been elevated to series regular. A brief appearance of Chance Perdomo’s Andre hints at the character’s continuing impact following the actor’s passing.

The SDCC panel featured cast members Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Linklater, alongside showrunner Michele Fazekas. Chace Crawford, who returns as The Deep, made a surprise video appearance.

Gen V Season 2 is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film. The trailer sets the tone for the season as the Boys universe moves closer to its endgame.
