The Infopark police have registered a case after a hidden camera was found mounted inside a women’s toilet in the main administrative building of Infopark Kochi.
The camera was found mounted beneath the wash basin. The police registered the case based on a petition lodged by Infopark administration deputy manager. The camera was found running when it was detected. It is suspected that the camera was put up on July 26.
The case was registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 77 (voyeurism) and the Information Technology Act Section 66E (violation of privacy through the capture, publication, or transmission of images of a private area without consent), the police said.
