Telangana Housing Board has generated revenue of ₹65.34 crore through sale of an acre of commercial plot in Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) phase 4 in Hyderabad on Wednesday (July 30). A total of 11 bids were received and four bidders have participated in the auction held online. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India procured the open plot, said the Housing Board’s managing director V.P. Gautham.

Besides this, 159 flats were sold by Rajiv Swagruha Corporation at its project in Bandlaguda, Nagole, on Wednesday through which nearly ₹26 crore was generated. A lottery was conducted to allot 131 flats. There are a total of 2,746 flats in the project. Of them, 159 flats — 1BHK to 3BHK — were vacant which were put for sale. The 1BHK and 2BHKs were priced between ₹15 lakh to ₹18 lakh. A lottery was conducted for the flats where more than one person applied.

Mr. Gautham said that those who couldn’t get a flat in Bandlaguda can use the receipt, acknowledging the demand draft, to apply for flats in Rajiv Swagruha’s project in Pocharam. There, 1BHK (255) are priced at ₹13lakh and ₹19 lakh for 2BHK (340). July 31 is the last date to apply and the lottery would be organised on August 1 and 2.
