Pa. Ranjith; Mohanraj, the stunt artist who passed away on the sets of Ranjith’s ‘Vettuvam’
Film director Pa. Ranjith was granted bail on Wednesday by the Keezhvelur District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court in connection with the death of a stunt trainer during a film shoot earlier this month.
The incident occurred on July 13 during the shooting of Mr. Ranjith’s upcoming Vettuvam movie near Alangadu, close to Keezhayur.
During the filming of a car chase sequence, stunt trainer S. Mohanraj ,52, tragically lost his life. Following the incident, the Keezhaiyur police registered a case under sections related to causing death by negligence against Mr. Ranjith and three others.
Three of the accused were granted bail earlier. Pa. Ranjith appeared before the court on Wednesday, and he was granted bail by the Judicial Magistrate.
