The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (APEPDCL) announced a scheduled power outage on August 1 (Friday) in certain areas under the jurisdiction of the Eluru mandal. The interruption will occur from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. due to essential line maintenance and the installation of Air Break (AB) switches.
According to K.M. Ambedkar, Executive Engineer (Operations), Eluru, the power supply will be suspended at areas covered by two major 11kV feeders. The first, the Ponangi feeder under the 33/11KV Powerpet substation, supplies electricity to Rajarajeswari Colony and Ponangi Road. The second, the Arundathi feeder from the 33/11kV Venkanna Tank substation, covers Chiranjeevi Bus Stand, Ashok Chakra, Loya Dibba, Palathumu Centre, Shanaga Pappu Bazaar, and Dongala Mandapam Road.
The official urged consumers in the affected areas to take note of the outage and cooperate with the maintenance team during this brief disruption.
