Cmde. Varghese Mathew is new Naval Officer-in-Charge for Kerala

Commodore Varghese Mathew assumed charge as the Naval Officer-in-Charge, Kerala. He was commissioned into the Indian Navy on July 1, 1996. A gunnery and missile warfare specialist, Cmde. Mathew has undergone advanced military education at the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and the Naval War College, Goa. He had earlier served as the Naval Officer-in-Charge, Kerala, from 2015 to 2017.
