Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) registered a total of 22 cases in July 2025, including 13 trap cases, a disproportionate assets case, a case of criminal misconduct, a regular enquiry and six surprise checks.

A total of 20 public servants, including two outsourcing employees, were trapped or arrested and remanded to judicial custody. The bureau seized ₹5.75 lakh in various trap cases involving various government departments.

In the only disproportionate assets case registered last month, officials unearthed assets worth ₹11.5 crore while surprise checks conducted at RTA check posts and Sub-Registrar offices led to the seizure of unaccounted cash amounting to ₹1.49 lakh.

During this seven-month period from January to July, the bureau registered 148 cases comprising 93 trap cases, nine disproportionate assets cases, 15 criminal misconduct cases, 11 regular enquiries, 17 surprise checks and three discreet enquiries. A total of 145 public servants, including ten outsourcing employees and private individuals, were arrested and remanded. The bureau seized ₹30.32 lakh in trap cases and unearthed disproportionate assets worth over ₹39.16 crore during this time.

In July alone, the bureau finalised 21 cases and sent final reports to the government. From January to July, 151 cases were finalised and similarly forwarded for further action.
