Two more suspects in the recent murder of a Special Sub-Inspector (SSI) of police have been arrested.
The police have arrested Manivannan, 42, of Arumbakkam, and Murugesan, 57, of Thiru.Vi.Ka. Nagar, in connection with the murder of Rajaraman, 54, on the night of July 18.
Earlier, the Egmore police had arrested Rakesh, 30, of Neelangarai, and Sarathkumar (alias) Ayappa, 36, of Kannagi Nagar.
According to the police, a drunken brawl broke out between  Rajaraman and his friends on July 18, and he sustained severe injuries and died without responding to treatment.
