A private school teacher was arrested by the Sangareddy police on Monday (August 4, 2025) for sexually assaulting a Class 5 girl.
The parents of the minor girl lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused, who worked as an English teacher in the school, was remanded to judicial custody on Tuesday (August 5, 2025). Further investigation is underway.
