Mangode Radhakrishnan re-elected CPI Thiruvananthapuram district secretary

Mangode Radhakrishnan has been re-elected Thiruvananthapuram district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI).

He was re-elected at the CPI district conference which concluded here on Saturday. The conference also elected a 58-member district council.

Mr. Radhakrishnan, who started his political career at a young age, represented the Nedumangad constituency in the State Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2011. He is a former district president of the All India Youth Federation, and for 12 years, served as the secretary of the CPI’s Nedmangad mandalam. He has been a member of the CPI district executive since 1994.

The conference also elected 57 delegates for the CPI State conference.
