Emami East Bengal FC grounded Indian Air Force Football Team (IAF FT) 6-1 in a Group-A match to conclude its group league assignment of the 134th Durand Cup with an all-win record, here on Sunday.

East Bengal went into the lead though Hamid Ahadad in the seventh minute before Bipin Singh (25th), Anwar Ali (63rd), Mohammad Rashid (68th), Saul Crespo (85th) and David Hamar (90+1) scored a goal apiece to complete its dominance. Aman Khan reduced the margin.

East Bengal joined traditional rival Mohun Bagan Super Giant as the other group champion of the Kolkata leg. The two are likely to meet in the quarterfinal here on August 17.

In Imphal, Real Kashmir FC won 3-1 over local side NEROCA FC in a Group-F clash. Salam Ranjan Singh put Real Kashmir in the lead in the first half, which was equalised by NEROCA’s Lucas Chagas midway through the second. Goals from Maret Tareck and Modou Mbengue secured full points for Real Kashmir.

The results: Group-A: East Bengal 6 (Hamid Ahadad 7, Bipin Singh 25, Anwar Ali 63, Mohammad Rashid 68, Saul Crespo 85, David Hamar 90+1) bt IAF 1 (Aman Khan 36). Group-B: Real Kashmir 3 (Salam Ranjan 32, Maret Tareck 70, Modou Mbengue 82) bt NEROCA 1 (Lucas 67).
