India Post has introduced its International Tracked Packet (ITP) service, designed to provide a fast, economical and reliable shipping solution for e-commerce exporters and individual customers looking to send consignments abroad.
The service enables shipments to 45 countries, offering end-to-end tracking, competitive tariffs and simplified booking at post offices. With a general maximum weight limit of 2 kg to 5 kg, depending on the destination country, the ITP is particularly suited for small consignments in the cross-border trade segment, said a release.
Features include a pick-up facility for registered customers, volume discounts for those availing advance deposit and shipment visibility throughout the delivery process. The complete country list and tariffs are available at the India Post website.
