Cycle rally taken out to commemorate 75 years of National Sample Survey

The National Statistics Office (NSO), Madurai Regional Office, on Tuesday conducted a cycle rally in Kodaikanal in Dindigul district. The rally was taken out to commemorate 75 years of the National Sample Survey (NSS).

According to a press release, the objective of the event was to highlight the pivotal role of NSS in nation-building, raising awareness about its contributions to socio-economic planning, enhancing visibility of NSO and its statistical initiatives and to engage the public in understanding the importance of official statistics.
