Sreyas V.G. struck an injury-time winner as Indian Navy FT beat local side TRAU FC 2-1 in the final Group-F match and entered the quarterfinals of the 134th Durand Cup at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal on Tuesday.

The result also helped Indian Navy claim the top spot in the group with seven points.

Looking for its first points of the tournament, TRAU found the break in the 29th minute through Moirangthem Nelson Singh and preserved the lead till the 87th minute when Pintu Mahata equalised to bring Navy back into the game.

Sreyas then found the winner in the third minute of added time to get his team ahead of Real Kashmir FC, which finished its campaign with six points.

Bodoland FC secured the remaining knock-out berth with a thumping 4-0 win over Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) FT in the concluding Group-D match at the SAI Stadium in Kokrajhar.

Bodoland FC tallied full nine points from three successive wins to top the group.

The two qualifiers were joined by the other four group winners — Emami East Bengal, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC – and the two best second-placed teams – Shillong Lajong FC (six points, +7 goal difference) and Diamond Harbour FC (six, +4) — in the last-eight stage.
