TDP MLC Bhumireddy Ramagopal Reddy has accused the YSRCP president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of attempting to cobble up a pact with the Congress.

Addressing the media here on Wednesday (August 13, 2025), Mr. Reddy maintained that Mr. Jagan was sending former Minister and his close confidant Botcha Satyanarayana regularly to New Delhi to meet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and discuss arrangements for a formal tie up.

“Is it not true that Mr. Satyanarayana is meeting Jagan at Yelahanka palace in Bengaluru every week and flying to New Delhi from there to take his leader’s message?”, he sought to know.

Mr. Jagan had not only taken a prima facie decision to work in tandem with the Congress, but had also proposed to remove his sister Y.S. Sharmila Reddy from the post of the APCC president, Mr. Ramagopal Reddy alleged, daring the YSRCP leaders to deny his allegation, if false.

Meanwhile, TDP Pulivendula constituency in-charge B. Tech Ravi, whose spouse Mareddy Latha Reddy contested as the ZPTC candidate on behalf of the party, rubbished the allegations of malpractice leveled by the YSRCP leaders against him.

Addressing the media along with district in-charge Minister S. Savitha, he said Pulivendula mandal had witnessed the first ever election in thirty years, which he called as ‘restoration of democracy’.

Referring to the boycott call given by the YSRCP, he wondered how the party, which had actually demanded a re-poll, could now take a different stand and seek boycott of the elections.
