The water level of the Yamuna river in Delhi is expected to breach the ‘warning level’ on Friday (August 15, 2025) evening, according to the Central Water Commission (CWC).

The water level of the Yamuna at Old Railway Bridge in Delhi was 204.28 metres at 11 a.m. on Friday (August 15, 2025), as per official data. 

The ‘warning level’ is 204.5 metres and the ‘danger level’ is 205.33 metres. The water level is likely to be 205.30 metres at 8 a.m. on Saturday, as per the CWC.

The level of the Yamuna in Delhi increases when the release from the Hathnikund Barrage (upstream of Delhi) increases.
